Join us on Saturday, December
6th for our annual Holiday Open House.
From 10am-4pm visitors are invited to shop for handmade holiday items, have
a photo taken with Santa Claus, make a craft, and enjoy refreshments
and holiday cheer. If your child is interested in participating in the craft, or you would like more information about the event, please call the Society offices at (425) 392-3500 or e-mail Karen at . |

2008-09 Issaquah & Superior Mine Hikes Sundays: December 7, April 5 |

Led by volunteer Steve Grate, the hike takes visitors to the site of one of Issaquah's mine workings. Registered hikers and members of the public will gather at the Issaquah Depot at 10 AM for a brief presentation and slide show on the history of the Issaquah & Superior mining operations. Hikers will leave from the Depot afterwards. The hike will last about 2.5 hours and cover approximately two miles over easy terrain. Hikes require advance registration and the completion of a release form. Contact the IHS office at 425/392-3500 or info@issaquahhistory.org for a registration form, or download a form from our site. The form and payment of the activity fee must be received by the Wednesday before the hike to hold your place. Hikes are held rain or shine. We recommend that you bring water and a sack lunch, and request that you leave animal companions at home. |
