Do you enjoy telling colorful stories, meeting new people, and hanging out in Issaquah’s bars? Here’s a perfect volunteer opp! Please join us at the Issaquah Depot Museum on Wednesday, April 1 (no foolin’!) for an evening training session that will feature:
Storytelling: current guides will share their favorite Pub Crawl stories with the group
Training: museum staff will share their secrets for being an engaging pub crawl guide
Resources: museum staff will highlight information included in the Pub Crawl Guide, a resource full of great stories and information about Issaquah.
Food & Drink: appetizers and wine/beer provided.
Next Steps: sign up as a volunteer for our upcoming crawls in May and October — or sign up as a guide if you’re feeling confident!
Please register for this event so that we know how much food, drink, and training materials to bring.
Issaquah History Pub Crawls are a collaborative project between the Issaquah History Museums and the Downtown Issaquah Association. Participants visit various drinking establishments in historic downtown Issaquah, enjoying food, appetizers, and stories from Issaquah’s darker side. Pub Crawls are held four times a year, and benefit the Issaquah History Museums and the Downtown Issaquah Association. Tickets for the Pub Crawl itself can be purchased here.
